Get Red-y

Red is such a fun color to wear. With over 350 types of red out there, its almost impossible not to find the perfect shade for you! I never was too into red myself - that is, until I came across this super chic, vintage, western top. I remember it like it was yesterday, rummaging through an old vintage shop in SoCal with my bestie (one of our favorite pastimes). I found 80s prom dresses, fragile, yet refined, handbags and a load of amazing belts! BUT, my favorite find was mixed among the old, raggedy tees and too big blouses. There it was, a crisp, burst of red pop that could not be ignored. I pulled it from the hanger and voila! It was love at first sight. The fringe, the flair, the silk fabric, it was absolutely perfect AND it was now mine.

Over the years I've found lots of fun ways to wear this vintage piece -- I've belted it, I've unbuttoned it and let it hang long over shorts and a tee, I've adorned it over a dress and here, I'm styling it as a tied loose top. I mean, how could you not love it, right? Keep on reading below...

I've talked about vintage shopping a whole lot lately but its not like that's the only shopping I do; I'm highly into online shopping these days, but I have had so much success with finding gem after gem over the years that I keep going back every once and again to see if I can uncover something new. Good luck on your next vintage endeavor!!
