Pretty in Pink

It's a warm (almost) summer day here in SoCal and I've made it to my last stop of the trip. I'm feeling so grateful for my days here this far -- the weather has been PERFECTION, the food has been on point, and the amazing bonding time with my bestie, her husband and her new bundle of joy could not be beat. 

[Side Note] does anyone else have the hardest time packing because you spend countless hours planning and organizing a packing list so you ensure you don't forget anything and then come to realize you actually only end up wearing like three items of clothing on repeat the entire time or just end up buying new clothes that you end up wearing on repeat the entire time and then you don't actually wear 95% of anything you planned for or brought??? Okayyyyy yeah, that's totally me! And that has totally been this trip!! You'd think I'd learn, but I never do...smh. 

Whatever the case, I DID pack every item I'm featuring here in this look and they really are going to be new closet staples through the next few seasons so be prepared to see a lot of them. 

First up, the one-shouldered bodysuit: This is by Tobi and right now its on sale for $35! It comes in both grey and a nude color and I am not lying, I have literally worn this at least twice a week since I got it. You need it in your closet! You'll be seeing this piece pop up in a few upcoming posts too, so be on the lookout!

Next up is this badass bomber jacket: The jacket is by Members Only and the satin finish is oh-so-cozy! I think I could actually sleep in it. If you don't own one of their jackets yet, you should look into it - I now have four of them and they are each incredibly unique and fun to wear! 

And then we have this pretty hot pink skirt!: This one is from a local boutique called Kittsona (check them out via insta too!) I have gotten lots of questions about this skirt and I've not been able to find this exact one online yet, but I've found some similar ones here and here and I'm linking them below too!

P.S. Funny thing is, I've never actually seen Pretty in Pink, but I pretty much feel like I have since I basically know the entire cast by name as well as the storyline (insert crying face emoji here).
