Oct 31 My Favorite Leather Goods: Featuring Minnetonka Moccasins

From the time I was a wee baby, I always had a pair of Minnetonka Moccasins. Their distinct style, intricate beading, and the craftsmanship of each unique pair make them a keepsake for years to come. While I couldn't fit in my baby pair forever, the latest pair I've had were the perfect deep brown Thunderbirds that I still wear after 15 years of loving ownership!

I love the brand so much, I was SO excited when I moved to Minnesota because I felt a new, deeper connection to the brand. Since growing up in the Lake Minnetonka area, I thought it was only fitting to style my newest pair at Minnetonka Orchards, which also holds a special place in my heart as its where my Husband and I got married over 4 years ago. This is the absolute best time of year to go for apple-picking and loads of outdoor fun if you're in the area.

Since I had the more traditional brown moccs already, I wanted to upgrade to a more sporty pair with these white Thunderbird Boat Moccasins. And guys, they do not disappoint! I've been wearing them with pretty much everything, plus they come in five other colors too. Denim is my go-to, as styled here below, but these would be perfect with a mini or midi length dress and leather or suede jacket or even styled with leather leggings and a denim chambray top. And lest I forget, THIS HAT! It's real leather and I could honest to god cry with how much I love it. If you've followed me for a while you know me and my love for hats. But this one takes the cake and all my other hats are major jelly right now. I think I'm going to get the rest of the line because it just fits like a glove and is honestly so well crafted that I know I will be wearing it for years to come.
